VINACONEX E&C has participated in the Joint venture Contractor to execute the Works for the Package 2 – Construction of section from Soc Son to Thai Nguyen of New National Highway No.3 under Regional Road Network Construction Project.

The Package 2 PK2 works consist of construction of expressway from Km.29+600 to Km.61+313, include 4 lanes 34.5m wide for motorized vehicles (4x3.5m), 2 emergency lanes (2x1.5m), medium (15.0m), and shoulders (2x0.75m). The construction of the Section also includes 44 underpass for road crossings; 121 irrigation pipe culverts and box culverts; 941m length of PC concrete bridges; an  interchange at Song Cong; 35km in length of  feeder and frontage roads; and drainage, traffic safety utilities, lighting system, etc.

The Construction is scheduled to executed for 42 months. The Total Package Value is about VND 1,500 billion funded under Japanese ODA Loans Agreement. The Employer is The Project Management Unit No.2 under Vietnam Road Administration.
